Over the course of our ongoing partnership with Lenny & Larry’s, we’ve helped shape the brand’s visual storytelling across multiple formats - from mascot packaging illustrations and fully character-driven animation campaigns to live-action commercial productions. This collaborative relationship has allowed us to build a cohesive creative language that balances humor, energy, and cultural relevance while supporting the brand’s continued evolution.

SoCal Vibrance Campaign

2024

Shot on location along the Southern California coast, this campaign fuses tactile live action moments with expressive hand-drawn animation to create a vibrant, kinetic brand world. The result is a playful yet elevated visual language designed to feel both immediate and iconic.

Lenny and Larry Take the Beach

This playful concept was developed through early creative exploration and tightly planned visual storytelling to land the brand’s signature humor and timing. Snaggletooth carried the piece through the full post process - shaping edit, animation, compositing, and final finish - delivering a cohesive, hand-crafted result on an accelerated timeline.

Lenny & Larry Hit the Skate Park

Designed as a high-energy character-driven vignette, this spot combined kinetic live-action footage with expressive mascot animation to capture the brand’s irreverent tone. Snaggletooth helped structure the visual beats early on, then carried the project through animation, VFX, and final polish to deliver a dynamic, culture-aware campaign piece.

Lenny & Larry Help With Some MASSIVE Waves

Built around an escalating visual gag, this concept leaned into scale and spectacle while maintaining a playful, design-forward sensibility. Snaggletooth shaped the storytelling rhythm in development and executed the full post pipeline — from animation and compositing to finishing — ensuring a bold yet cohesive campaign execution.

Lenny & Larry Go to the Barber

This character-centric comedy spot explored timing, performance, and visual contrast between live-action environments and animated mascots. Snaggletooth supported the creative direction of the narrative beats and led the entire post-production process, crafting a polished final film that balanced humor with strong graphic storytelling.

Super Bowl 8-Bit Pixel Art

2021 - 2025

With full creative freedom on the brief, we developed a nostalgic concept that reimagined the Super Bowl in a handcrafted 8-bit world. Using frame-by-frame pixel illustration and animation, the spot was built with intentional “Nintendo-era” visual constraints to heighten authenticity and charm. The result was a playful yet design-driven campaign moment that resonated strongly with both the client and audience.

Pop-Up Book Animation

To celebrate the brand’s birthday, we created a whimsical animated world inspired by classic pop-up books - a stage where mascots, products, and playful visual gags could unfold with handcrafted charm. The result was a joyful, character-driven piece that balanced humor, design precision, and bold brand personality.

The mascot work began in 2021, when Lenny & Larry’s tapped Snaggletooth to bring illustrated characters into select campaign spots. What started as a series of playful one-off performances quickly proved its value as a storytelling device. By 2023, Snaggletooth became the lead creative partner for all mascot-driven illustration and animation — shaping a cohesive character language across packaging, social campaigns, and brand activations through spring 2025.
