With full creative freedom on the brief, we developed a nostalgic concept that reimagined the Super Bowl in a handcrafted 8-bit world. Using frame-by-frame pixel illustration and animation, the spot was built with intentional “Nintendo-era” visual constraints to heighten authenticity and charm. The result was a playful yet design-driven campaign moment that resonated strongly with both the client and audience.

The mascot work began in 2021, when Lenny & Larry’s tapped Snaggletooth to bring illustrated characters into select campaign spots. What started as a series of playful one-off performances quickly proved its value as a storytelling device. By 2023, Snaggletooth became the lead creative partner for all mascot-driven illustration and animation — shaping a cohesive character language across packaging, social campaigns, and brand activations through spring 2025.
